Carolyn J. Finer, CFA

Ms. Finer joined RBC Rochdale in 2015 and has over 30 years investment experience. Based in New York, City, she is responsible for working with City National’s Private Banking division to lead and facilitate the investment business development efforts for high-net-worth private clients and institutions.

Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Finer most recently served as a Private Wealth Advisor and Senior Portfolio Manager at UBS, where she led the development of strategic and tactical investment solutions for high-net-worth clients. Previously, she spent 16 years at JP Morgan's Private Bank as a portfolio manager serving international and U.S. clients, and also worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Bank of America, U.S. Trust in the Private Banking division.

Ms. Finer earned a BA from Georgetown University with a double major in Finance and International Management. She also earned an MBA in Finance from Fordham University. She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute. Ms. Finer is a committee member of City National’s Women’s Network in New York. She is active in her community as a member of the Red Bank Elks and has served on a local private school board. In 2019, she was named one of 2019’s Notable Women in Banking and Finance by Crain’s New York Business. In her free time, Ms. Finer enjoys playing tennis and pickleball and is an avid college basketball and football fan.
