Mr. Baumgartner joined RBC Rochdale in 2026 and brings over 17 years of financial services experience. Based in North Carolina, he cultivates relationships with financial advisors and their high-net-worth clients throughout the Carolinas and Southern Virginia.
Previously, Mr. Baumgartner spent 14 years at New York Life, where he progressed to Corporate Vice President and Senior Investment Solutions Consultant, leading the South Central Zone and supporting financial advisors and their clients’ wealth management needs. Earlier in his career, he served as a Financial Advisor at Diamond State Financial Group and PNC Investments.
Mr. Baumgartner earned his degree in Finance with a minor in Economics from the University of Delaware, where he played four years of ice hockey. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of North Carolina. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys traveling, sports, and outdoor activities with his wife and two sons.
