Joe Baumgartner, CFA

Mr. Baumgartner joined RBC Rochdale in 2026 and has over 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. Based in North Carolina, he is responsible for cultivating relationships with financial advisors and their high-net-worth clients in the Carolinas.

Prior to joining Rochdale, Mr. Baumgartner spent 14 years at New York Life where he served as an Investment Solutions Consultant, most recently leading the South Central Zone as a Senior Investment Solutions Consultant working with financial advisors and their clients’ wealth management needs. Prior to New York Life, Mr. Baumgartner was a financial advisor with Diamond State Financial Group and PNC Investments.

Mr. Baumgartner majored in Finance and minored in Economics at the University of Delaware where he also played four years of ice hockey. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of North Carolina. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons traveling, playing sports, and being outdoors.
