Sumer Miller, CFA, CAIA, CFP®

Sumer Miller joined RBC Rochdale in 2026, bringing nearly a decade of experience in investment management. She works closely with each client's advisor to develop customized portfolios tailored to individual investment objectives, time horizons, income needs, and risk tolerance. In this capacity, Sumer is responsible for investment strategy implementation and monitoring of private client portfolios, as well as direct client relationship management.

Prior to RBC Rochdale, Sumer served as a Portfolio Manager at Community Trust and Investment Co., where she was a member of the Investment Management Group with a focus on individual stock selection and broader investment strategy.

Sumer holds a BS in Business Management and an MS in Finance from Texas Tech University, as well as an MS in Oil and Gas Law from Robert Gordon University. She has also obtained the CFA, CAIA and CFP® designations.

A Southern California native, Sumer spent much of the past decade in Lexington, KY before relocating to Chicago to join the Rochdale team. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, staying active, learning new crafts, and spending time with her dogs.
